Project Manager

Laura Buzzone joined the City of San Diego’s Engineering & Capital Projects Department in 2018. With experience in city management, analysis, and process improvement, she was a natural fit for the Performance & Analytics Department, transferring in the fall of 2025.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and is certified in project management. Her professional interests include performance management development, municipal projects that improve the quality of life for San Diegans, and encouraging alternative forms of commuting to work by riding a shiny red bicycle to City Hall. In her free time, she enjoys mountain biking, pickleball, volunteering for social and political causes, and playing music in amateur pickup bands.
