Time trials are known as the race of truth, it is the cyclist against the clock. Athletes select category and distance, 3 laps (20km) or 6 laps (40km) around Fiesta Island, juniors will ride one or two laps. Single riders, tandems, and teams all compete for top honors and island records or come out and test their fitness. An awards ceremony will be held after the last athlete finishes. Top six finishers in each category will be eligible to earn points towards series competition. Awards will be given to series winners at the last race of the series. |

Belgian Waffle Ride California
The Belgian Waffle Ride California (BWR CA), renowned as "the most unique cycling event in the world," is a pinnacle of gravel racing. Established in 2012, it's the oldest and largest gravel race in the region, embodying endurance, grit, and community. In 2026, BWR CA returns to the Del Mar Surf Sports Park, offering a dynamic race experience near the Pacific Ocean. San Diego's diverse terrain, with its mix of pavement, dirt roads, single-track, and climbs, provides a challenging yet scenic backdrop. BWR CA has evolved into a full weekend festival of cycling, running, and community, culminating on May 2nd-3rd, 2026. Belgian Waffle Ride California
The Belgian Waffle Ride California (BWR CA), renowned as "the most unique cycling event in the world," is a pinnacle of gravel racing. Established in 2012, it's the oldest and largest gravel race in the region, embodying endurance, grit, and community. In 2026, BWR CA returns to the Del Mar Surf Sports Park, offering a dynamic race experience near the Pacific Ocean. San Diego's diverse terrain, with its mix of pavement, dirt roads, single-track, and climbs, provides a challenging yet scenic backdrop. BWR CA has evolved into a full weekend festival of cycling, running, and community, culminating on May 2nd-3rd, 2026. The BWR Unroad Expo will feature numerous vendors, food, health & wellness exhibitors, and family activities. Race day highlights include Belgian waffles, three race distances, and abundant post-race food. The event attracts world-class cyclists globally, positioning San Diego at the forefront of the gravel racing scene and offering amateur riders a chance to ride alongside their heroes. March for Babies
March for Babies is the oldest fundraising walk in the nation. Families, community groups, organizations, and companies come together to walk in support of the March of Dimes fight for healthy moms & strong babies. 29th Annual Barrio Logan Grand Prix
Join in the thrill of fast-paced bicycle racing by pro racers, top-level amateurs, and a fun children's cycling event at the Barrio Logan Grand Prix, one of Southern California's largest cycling events. The race is open to men and women of all ages, from professional and Olympic level cyclists to first-time racers. The 0.8-mile race course takes place in historic downtown Barrio Logan and will begin and end on Newton Avenue across from Perkins Elementary School. Spectators will have access to numerous views of the racers along city streets in the Barrio Logan area throughout the day. A free bike safety rodeo for kids will be held from in the morning, offering free helmets supported by Performance Contracting and Barrett Engineered Pumps.
