Sunday, February 15, 2026, 6 - 9am Fiesta Island Time Trials Fiesta Island Time Trials is San Diego's original time trial series since 1968, sponsored by San Diego Bicycle Club. Time trials are known as the race of truth, it is the cyclist against the clock. Athletes select category and distance, 3 laps (20km) or 6 laps (40km) around Fiesta Island, juniors will ride one or two laps. Single riders, tandems, and teams all compete for top honors and island records or come out and test their fitness. An awards ceremony will be held after the last athlete finishes. Top six finishers in each category will be eligible to earn points towards series competition. Awards will be given to series winners at the last race of the series. Address:

Details: The Crystal Pier Outrigger Race has been in Mission Bay since 1981. It is one of the top three outrigger races held in California. The event site is Crown Point Beach Park and 4 separate races are held throughout the day. Kids age 8 and up compete in morning races followed by novice paddlers. Open paddlers then race in a womens and co-ed race in the late morning followed by a men&#x27;s race in the afternoon. Canoes launch from Crown Point Beach Park and racers tend to arrive prior to their assigned race division and often leave after. All participants bring their own beach chairs and belongings. A free bike safety rodeo for kids will be held from in the morning, offering free helmets supported by

Details: The Girls on the Run 5K at De Anza Cove is hosted in a large, open grassy area adjacent to the beach and bayfront path. The event footprint is concentrated near the De Anza Cove Park signage and restroom facilities.<br><br>The event village is centrally located on the grass and serves as the hub of activity. This area includes participant check-in and information and activity booths. Nearby, the start and finish arch anchors the course flow, with space for runners to gather before the race and afterward.<br><br>The 5K course begins near the event village and follows a combination of roadways and the bayside path. Road closures are implemented along De Anza Road and sections of Mission Bay Drive to ensure runner safety, with the course eventually transitioning onto the protected bayfront path before looping back to the finish area.<br><br>Operational and support elements are thoughtfully placed around the perimeter. A medical tent, staffed by trained volunteers and medical personnel, is located near the restrooms for accessibility. Water stations are positioned both on the course and near the finish to support runners throughout the event. A designated food area and medal distribution tables allow for smooth post-race flow, while a separate team area provides schools and teams space to gather together.<br><br>Overall, the layout at De Anza Cove offers excellent visibility, accessibility, and safety, while creating an uplifting and organized experience that supports our mission of celebrating girls confidence, strength, and accomplishment.

Athletes select category and distance, 3 laps (20km) or 6 laps (40km) around Fiesta Island, juniors will ride one or two laps. Single riders, tandems, and teams all compete for top honors and island records or come out and test their fitness. An awards ceremony will be held after the last athlete finishes. Top six finishers in each category will be eligible to earn points towards series competition. Awards will be given to series winners at the last race of the series. Address:
