Funding for Cultural Affairs
Funding for Cultural Affairs
Creativity and the arts play an important role in enhancing the quality of life in San Diego. One of the ways that the City cultivates a dynamic arts ecosystem and promotes greater cultural participation and engagement is through the funding of projects and organizations. Cultural Affairs invests in artists, creatives, organizations, and the systems that support creative work; expands participation and access; and advances San Diego as a global creative destination.
These funds, awarded through competitive application processes, make meaningful impacts in communities and expand access to arts and culture throughout the city.
