Senior Performance Auditor

Arlys Erickson joined the City Auditor's Office in June 2014, after spending over 25 years performing internal and external audits of Department of Defense Financial Statements and internal performance audits for the Air Force Audit Agency and the Naval Audit Service. She has also taught graduate and undergraduate auditing, accounting, and finance courses for over 10 years.

Arlys is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), and Certified Professional Environment Audit (CPEA). She is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), Association of Accountants (AGA), Board of Environmental, Health, & Safety Auditor Certifications (BEAC), and American Society of Military Comptrollers (ASMC). She has a Master of Science in Administration (MSA) Degree from Central Michigan University and a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration Degree from the College of New Jersey.
