PRINCIPAL PERFORMANCE AUDITOR

Megan Jaffery joined the San Diego Office City Auditor’s Office in March 2013. She has been working in performance auditing for the past several years. She has worked on audits pertaining to street paving, storm water, water billing, and affordable housing. Indeed, she and her team received a Knighton Award in 2016 for an audit of the City’s Code Enforcement Division of the Development Services Department.

Megan feels that working in performance auditing is her way of giving back to the community and performing public service. Originally from Riverside, California, she has a BA in Global Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an MA in Public Policy from Pepperdine University.
