Assistant City Auditor

Matt rejoined the Office of City Auditor in February 2022.   Matt has served the City in various capacities since 2011, including as a Deputy City Auditor and a Performance Audit Manager in the Office of the City Auditor, Deputy Director of Purchasing and Contracting, and, most recently, as the City’s first Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to joining the City, Matt worked as a Senior Analyst and Project Manager for the U.S. Government Accountability Office, where he oversaw a broad portfolio of international affairs and trade issues, and also served as Special Assistant to the U.S. Comptroller General.

Matt holds a B.A. in Economics and English Literature from Cornell College and an M.A. in International Affairs and Trade from     the  University of Denver. Matt is a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Fraud Examiner.
