Shirley Reid joined the Office of the City Auditor (OCA) in February 2024 as an Internal Operations Support Analyst. Shirley obtained her bachelor's in business administration from the University of California, Riverside.

Prior to joining the OCA, Shirley worked for the City Planning Department and Economic Development Department since 2000, where she supervised the fiscal and administrative operations of both departments. She also managed both departments’ General Fund budget development and monitoring; federal, state, and local grant portfolios; and internal city special funds.
