Marye Sanchez

SENIOR PERFORMANCE AUDITOR

Marye Sanchez joined the San Diego Office of the City Auditor in January 2020 as a Performance Auditor. Marye worked on the performance audit of the City's Brush Management on City-Owned Land, which won the Exemplary Knighton Award from the Association of Local Government Auditors in 2023. Recently, she has worked on performance audits of Equity in Recreation Programming, the City’s Disaster Response, and Brush Management on Private Property.

Marye has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, with a concentration in Children, Youth, and Families from California State University, San Marcos. Prior to joining the Office of the City Auditor, Marye worked at the California State Auditor. In her free time, you can find her walking her doodles at one of the many dog parks and/or dog beaches in the region.
