Share Your Memories of San Diego with the Artist in Residence in Civic Center Concourse!

Artist MR Barnadas of Collective Magpie has been commissioned to create a site-specific mural for the Civic Center Public Art Project. This permanent public artwork will be located in Civic Center Concourse and will enliven the space for visitors to Civic Center Concourse and the downtown core. The mural will be located in the pedestrian walkway between the Evan Jones Parkade and the presently-vacant Downtown Johnny Brown’s restaurant.

The artist will be in residence in the Civic Center Concourse from June 20-July 10^th from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m., Sunday-Tuesday. She would love to meet you and hear your memories of San Diego! The artist will also have a banner located on the future mural site so you can write your memories as well.
