Kasi Muñoz has cultivated a career path focused on activating people, activating spaces, and activating change. Muñoz currently holds a BA in Public Relations, a BS in Environment and Resource Management from Texas State University-San Marcos, and an MLA in Landscape Architecture from the New School of Architecture and Design. Muñoz has been a lead designer, business developer, marketing creative, and project manager for small landscape architecture, design/build, and consulting firms for the past 14 years. Muñoz focuses her efforts on building healthy communities and engaging with her clients to bring their vision to reality. She thrives on collaboration and enjoys working with artists, designers, makers, activists, and forward thinkers. Muñozis also a fellow with the San Diego Fellows Gathering Place program and lends her leadership skills to lead artists and community members through a collaborative process from design concept through construction. She continues her education in permaculture design and seeks to provide workshops around regenerative living, design, and placemaking. For Park Social, Muñoz is working with frequent collaborator Kline Swonger on a project.
