A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held to celebrate the completion of the Paradise Hills Picnic Shelter Project at the Paradise Hills Community Park. The $216,000 project that began in March 2010 installed a 32-foot picnic shelter in the lower level of the park. The project also included installation of picnic tables, a fence along Potomac St. and ADA accessible improvements to the path of travel from the existing accessible parking to the new picnic shelter.
