Framed letter of appreciation, a patch and a photograph taken at the Boy Scouts Balboa District's 1971 'Friendship-O-Ree' held on Fiesta Island, Mission Bay. They thanked Mayor Wilson for taking part in the flag-raising ceremonies and wrote that the California state flag he presented to them would be flown at all of their district's future functions. The frame measures 13 x 17 inches. Donated on January 13, 1972, by John B. Meagher, District Camping Chairman, Balboa District.
