The City of San Diego is proud to welcome Hyundai Motor America as our newest Corporate Partner, supporting public safety and community wellbeing through a long‑term vehicle sponsorship for the San Diego Fire‑Rescue Department Lifeguard Division.

Through this partnership, Hyundai will provide a fleet of 32 brand‑new vehicles—at no cost to the City—to support lifeguard operations across San Diego’s beaches and bay parks. This collaboration strengthens our commitment to protecting beachgoers, promoting water safety, and ensuring our Lifeguards have the tools they need to keep the public safe.
