Sound Unlimited is Bonita Vista High School's womens competitive show choir. Sound Unlimited has performed on the Organ Pavilion stage at December Nights nearly every year since the early 1990's! Like Bonita Vista's Co-Ed Group, Sound Unlimited has also competed nationally and internationally, winning hundreds of top awards. This diverse group of students are dedicated musicians, performers, and technicians who are working hard to continue the Heritage of Excellence of their group, and are honored to perform for you this evening.

Raúl Prieto Ramirez
With words such as “sizzling,” iconoclastic,” “impeccable,” and “transcendent” used to describe his performances, San Diego Civic Organist Raúl Prieto Ramírez is the first Spanish organist in recent times to establish himself among the elite of the international organ scene. "The powerful personality, passionate expressiveness, gift for communication, and outstanding technique of Spanish organist Raúl Prieto Ramírez make him shine in a wide range of repertoire and styles". Tree Lighting Ceremony
Join Mayor Kevin L. Faulconer as he kicks-off December Nights by flipping the candy cane switch to turn on the holiday lights in Balboa Park. All San Diegans are encouraged to experience the lights, the music and the incredible food throughout Balboa Park on December 6th and 7th at one of the largest free holiday festivals in the country.

Sun Harbor Chorus
The Sun Harbor Chorus, founded in 1946, is San Diego's original barbershop chorus. They rehearse weekly in the Casa Del Prado in Balboa Park. Dressed as Santa's elves, the Sun Harbor Chorus sings on the organ pavilion stage at December Nights every year.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Choir San Diego, Inc.
The Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Choir San Diego, Inc. (MLKCCSD) is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The purpose of the choir is to promote the artistic growth of children and youth in the metropolitan San Diego region; to serve as a cultural ambassador in regional, national and international concerts and seminars; to promote arts education through performances primarily of traditional and contemporary spirituals and gospel music and provide the historical context for this repertoire. Our music, which is inspirational and uplifting, celebrates the history of the Negro Spiritual.

San Diego Gay Men's Chorus
The San Diego Gay Men's Chorus is one of the largest choruses in the world with 250 singers and dancers. They have sung at the White House, Lincoln Center and the Super Bowl in addition to performing 40 outreach concerts each year throughout San Diego County. Next up is the Chorus' big holiday show Jingle from their home stage at the festive Balboa Theatre.

Christmas Story Tree/Del Cerro Baptist Church
The Christmas Story Tree has been a 35+ year tradition at the Organ Pavilion, that tells the traditional Biblical story of Christmas through song and "still" dramatic scenes. The program includes a 33 foot Christmas tree that is both a lighting marvel and opens up as a stage to still scenes from the story of the Birth of Christ in Bethlehem over 2000 years ago. A choir, that is made up of members many local churches and community members, and an orchestra tell the story through familiar Christmas Hymns and Carols along with a narrator.
