Come out and join us at Chollas Lake Park for the park beautification project. We are working on a few projects each month that will lead to a larger reward: enhancing our Chollas Lake Park.

History of Chollas Lake Park - San Diego
Chollas Lake Park, named after the chollas cactus, is a reservoir built in 1901 to serve San Diego's water supply. It was designated a youth fishing lake in 1971 and is the only such lake in San Diego County. The park offers a variety of activities for the whole family, including hiking trails, picnic shelters, and playgrounds. It is a hidden treasure in an urban community, providing a peaceful place for relaxation and recreation.
