D8 Dumpster Day & Park Beautification

Help Keep Dorothy Petway Park Beautiful!

Join Councilmember Vivian Moreno and the City of San Diego Park and Recreation Team for a community-wide park beautification event at Dorothy Petway Park!

Volunteers will work together to help preserve and enhance this neighborhood park by picking up litter and improving the surrounding park space. This is a great opportunity to give back to your community, meet fellow volunteers, and make a lasting impact on one of San Diego's local parks.

No experience is necessary. Trash pickers, bags, and other cleanup supplies will be provided. We encourage volunteers to wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes, to apply sunscreen, and to bring a reusable water bottle.

Whether you're volunteering as an individual, with family, friends, or a community group, your support will help create a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming park for everyone.
