Join us in helping restore the Mission Valley Preserve - South!
Volunteers will assist with removing invasive pepper trees using hand saws, removing smaller invasive plant species with hand tools, and helping improve the health of this valuable natural habitat. Please be prepared for a short hike into the preserve from the meeting location to the work site.

What to Bring:
- Gloves (if you have them)
- Drinking water
- Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, etc.)
- Long pants
- Closed-toe shoes suitable for hiking on uneven terrain
Tools Provided:
- Hand saws
- Other hand tools needed for invasive species removal
Additional Information:
- Participants will hike from the meeting location into the preserve to complete the volunteer project.
- Volunteers are encouraged to preregister.
- This event is open to participants ages 16 and older.
- Participation agreements must be signed by a parent or legal guardian for all youth participants.
- Please note that restroom availability is limited, so plan accordingly before arriving.
