Next, join Ranger Megan and I for the Trail and Habitat Conservation Project on Sunday. Meet at Gablewood Trailhead near the intersection of Gablewood and Evans Wood Way (32.92757, -117.19108). We’ll be focused on trimming the popular hiker/equestrian Shaw Valley Trail and removing Dittrichia graveolens, also known as Stinkwort, an aromatic foe some of you may recall from previous years. Depending on how mature it is and the extent of it, we might split into two groups. For those of us who work on the trimming aspect, there is poison oak growing along some sections of the trail, so plan accordingly and read that last paragraph. Check out the Google map of meeting location, or use the coordinates listed above: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1Lgl4eDS9vWy2v4qMAIN-JBLK08pwukc&usp=sharing
