📝 Description:

Seeking volunteers 🌟—new to the park or regulars who’d like to give back! Join Ranger Elizabeth on her Park Beautification Crew, held the fourth Saturday of each month (except July & August due to heat ☀️).

Projects may include:

• 🌳 Pruning brush

• 🌿 Hauling & spreading mulch

• 🧹 Sweeping walkways

• 🗑 Litter abatement

• 🏞 Riverbed clean-up

• 🚧 Fence repairs

👕 What to Bring / Wear:

• 👖 Long pants

• 🧢 Sun protection / hat

• 👟 Sturdy, closed-toe shoes

• 💧 Personal water bottle

• 🧤 Work gloves (if you have them)

Provided by the park: Tools 🛠️, gloves 🧤, know-how, snacks 🍎, ice water 💧, and Gatorade 🥤

⚠️ Safety: Volunteers are responsible for knowing their physical limits, safe tool usage, and awareness of hazards like ☀️ sun/heat, 🐍 rattlesnakes, 🕷 ticks, 🌿 poison oak, etc.

👶 Volunteer Age Requirements:

• Under 18: Parent/legal guardian must electronically sign a volunteer waiver ✍️

• Under 13: Must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian 👪
