Chandler Martin

photo of Chandler Martin Chandler Martin is the founder of Springboard Cuba, a social venture promoting US-Cuba cooperation in business, academia and the arts. Founded in 2015, this company helps organizations and individuals understand Cuba through educational programs that offer meaningful interaction with the Cuban people.

Prior to that, she worked for 4 years as a program director at the Institute of the Americas, an Inter-American policy think tank, where she was responsible for convening high-level dialogue and doing capacity building programs throughout the Western Hemisphere, focusing the themes of social and financial inclusion, the US-Mexico relationship, trade and entrepreneurship.

She is a member of the International Affairs Board of the City of San Diego, a volunteer at Hera Hub business accelerator for women, and a mentor for the University of San Diego MBA program.

She completed her MBA at the University of San Diego, an M.Sc. in Marketing at EGADE Business School in Mexico City, and a B.A. in Political Science and Latin American Studies at UNC-Chapel Hill. She has lived and worked in 7 countries.
