Sergio Luis Alcalde joined the Office of the Independent Budget Analyst (IBA) in May 2023. Sergio served in the Navy for 8 years and has received his undergraduate degree in economics at San Diego State University while active duty. Before joining the IBA, served as an economic development program coordinator at a non-profit organization in East San Diego.
