Alexandra Murphy, MPP

PERFORMANCE AUDITOR II

Alexandra Murphy joined the Office of the City Auditor in May 2026. Before joining the Office, she worked domestically and internationally across the private, academic, and nonprofit sectors, applying her background in data analytics, project management, and strategic communications to address complex organizational challenges. Most recently, she served as a Risk Manager for a Fortune 100 company, where she developed internal compliance programs aligned with federal, state, and local laws.

Alex holds a Master of Public Policy with a focus on Program Design and Evaluation from the School of Global Policy and Strategy at UC San Diego, and a Bachelor of Arts in Global Economics from UC Santa Cruz.
