Bruce Williams is a second generation native San Diegan. A lifelong resident of District 4, he attended Knox Elementary, Hale Jr. High and Morse High Schools. Bruce has a B.A Degree in Political Science from University of California, San Diego along and a M.A. Degree in Public Policy from Regent University. He has served elected officials in all levels of government with professional experience in Washington, D.C. and Sacramento, CA. Bruce worked with Supervisor Leon Williams in the 4th Supervisorial District. With more than seventeen years of service in the City of San Diego, Bruce has served two Mayors and three City Councilmembers. His last position was as the Consultant for the City’s Audit Committee. His community volunteerism includes service on the Encanto (Chollas Valley) and the Eastern Area Planning Committees.

Honored to serve “The People’s Councilmember” Monica Montgomery, Bruce is expected to apply his experience and knowledge of City as the Fourth District Ombudsman, working to connect our citizens with their city government. Along with advising the Councilmember on policy issues, Bruce will serve as liaison to the Eastern Area Planning Committee, Redwood Village, Rolando Park, Chollas View and Broadway Heights.
