Station 2, at 1171 10th Avenue, was closed in 1971 and combined with Station 1. In March 2016, ground was broken on a new Station 2 at 875 West Cedar Street. It will serve Little Italy and the downtown area west of the train and trolley tracks.

Station 2 will be a 25,000-square-foot, three-story building, scheduled to open in late 2017.
