Gabriela Vargas

INTERNAL OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

Gabriela Vargas joined the Office of the City Auditor in May 2026 as an Internal Operations Assistant. Before joining the Office, she worked as a senior marketing professional in the electric vehicle infrastructure and clean energy sector. Her experience includes leading strategic communications and coordinating projects for clean energy initiatives, as well as managing participant engagement for State-funded programs. She also has a background in public outreach, operational support, and cross‑functional collaboration with both technical and public‑facing teams.

Gabriela holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from San Diego State University and a Professional Certificate in Sustainable Business Practices from UC San Diego Extended Studies.
