The Youth Commission serves as an advisory body to the Mayor and City Council on issues of interest to youth and pertaining to youth in the City of San Diego. Youth and young adults are impacted by the decisions of City officials, but seldom have the opportunity to directly participate in the process. Get involved by submitting an application today!

Appointment Process
The members shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by Council. The Mayor shall appoint (2) members from the nominees provided by each member of the City Council and two (2) additional members chosen by the Mayor.
