Youth Commission
The Youth Commission serves as an advisory body to the Mayor and City Council on issues of relevance to youth and pertaining to youth in the City of San Diego. Youth and young adults are impacted by the decisions of City officials, but seldom have the opportunity to directly participate in the process. The establishment of a City of San Diego Youth Commission empowers youth participation in local government, as well as provides City officials an opportunity to hear and address their ideas and concerns.
