SENIOR PERFORMANCE AUDITOR
Luis Briseño joined the Office of the City Auditor in November 2010 as the Assistant to the City Auditor and was promoted to a Performance Auditor role in October 2012. Since then, Luis has worked on audits that cover a wide range of topics, including park maintenance, financial condition, affordable housing, special events, and water utility operations. His work on the Performance Audit of the City’s Public Right-of-Way Maintenance Activities encouraged the City to centralize customer service operations, which the City did by launching the 311 Customer Experience, including Get it Done.
Luis is a Certified Government Auditing Professional and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley with double majors in Political Economy and Political Science.
