Council President Pro Tem Kevin Faulconer was joined by representatives from Campland on the Bay, Mission Bay community members, staff from Engineering and Capital Projects, and the Park and Recreation Department for the groundbreaking ceremony to showcase the Rose Creek Bikeway Bridge Project. "Mission Bay Park is one of San Diego's crown jewels," Faulconer said. "For bikers, the Rose Creek Bike Path around Mission Bay is truly a special place. The bridge the City is building across Rose Creek is the missing link that makes the bike path complete. It will provide a safer route over the creek by keeping bikers off Grand Avenue. I'm certain it will become a wonderful addition to San Diego's beach communities."
