Project Overview

The 30^th Street Pipeline Replacement A Project provides for the replacement of approximately 1,300 lineal feet (LF) of existing 12-inch water main with new 16-inch water main and installation of 300 LF of new 16-inch water main along University Avenue between Oregon Street and 30th Street. The project is located in Council District 3, within the North Park Community Area. Some additional facts about the project are below.

• Construction Days & Hours: Construction days: Monday- Thursday, 8 p.m. – 6 a.m.
• Construction Notices: The City’s contractor will deliver a door hanger with the approximate date that construction will begin on your street. You will also receive notice of any future planned interruptions to your water and sewer service.
• Street Access and Parking: Construction crews will allow access to residences and businesses; street parking restrictions may be implemented.
• High-lines – While the old water mains are being replaced, high-lines will be installed temporarily along the face of the curb to supply water to your home. Because these high-lines are placed above the ground, motorists and pedestrians should exercise caution around them.

The project's planning, design, and construction budget is $2.9 million.*
This project will occur in various stages beginning in winter 2020 and ending in winter 2021.*
