Mission Gorge Road Settlement Emergency Repair Project
Project Background
On June 1, 2016 the two south and north bound lanes of Mission Gorge Road, between Old Cliffs Road and Greenbrier Avenue, were closed because of road settlement damage indicating the possible presence of a potential sink hole. Work on this emergency project started on June 7, 2016 and is located in the Grantville neighborhood of City Council District 7. The emergency project will investigate the reasons for soil settlement and restore the integrity of the damaged street segment, the median and below ground utilities to their operating condition.
