The Communication Department's mission is to facilitate timely and honest communication and collaboration that fosters greater transparency and openness in City government.

Television Coverage (CityTV)

The CityTV team is proud to broadcast and stream the City’s public meetings, ensuring transparency, accessibility, engagement and education for the community.

Publishing Services

As the City’s print shop, Publishing Services provides graphic design, bindery services, high-volume, large-scale and wide-format printing for City department projects. It also facilitates other promotional material requests from City departments.

Public Records Requests

The City of San Diego is committed to transparency and providing easy access to public records pursuant to the California Public Records Act (CPRA). Our team facilitates CPRA requests with the public and City departments.
