City Logo Use
Visual Style Guide
The City of San Diego’s Visual Style Guide provides a set of standards for designing documents. The Style Guide establishes and enforces style to improve communication. To do that, it ensures consistency within a document and across multiple documents and enforces best practices in usage, in language and visual composition and typography.
Logos
The Visual Style Guide introduces all approved San Diego logo versions and demonstrates the rules for both print and digital use. Always use the San Diego logo in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the Visual Style Guide.
Filming Permits
The San Diego Film Office provides the core and boutique services of a traditional film office for the San Diego region, including permitting and connecting productions to the right contacts with our partner cities, production facilitation, locations services, providing resources for the local film industry and promoting the region as a film-friendly destination.

- The Development Services Department (DSD) Permitting Center Dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of DSD’s permit data, inspections and code enforcement.
- The DSD Online Services Portal offers a convenient and efficient way to check project and permit status, Building & Land Use Enforcement records and more. These can be searched by address as well as applicable record numbers and provide a direct reference to developments in our communities.
- This is a map of City-owned properties and lists the departments that manage them.
- The City’s Get It Done app allows San Diegans to report non-emergency problems like potholes, graffiti and illegal dumping. Here are the Get It Done reports submitted by the public.
