The 1968 Andy Williams San Diego Open Pro-Am Award ceremony was held at Vacation Village. Max Baer (known for his role as Jethro in The Beverly Hillbillies) was the Pro-Am Division award winner. Pictured with him are his wife, Joanne Kathleen Hill, Fred MacMurray and his wife June Haver, and an unidentified man with a hat on. Max was an athlete and avid golfer. While in high school, he won the Sacramento Junior Open Golf Championship two years in a row, and then took the runner-up title in the men's tournament.
