Roy Barth, a native of San Diego, grew up playing tennis at Morley Field, winning high school championships in 1965. Accomplishments include: UCLA All-American, made finals in NCAA doubles championship, played professional tour from 1969-1975, founding father of the Association of Tennis Professionals, won Pacific Coast Doubles Championship in 1969, National 60 and over Father/Son Clay Court Championship in 2009, and recipient of numerous awards. Teaching professionally, he became Director of Tennis at Kiawah Island Golf Resort in 1976.
