Mt. Hope Interment Tickets

In 1871, The City of San Diego Mount Hope Cemetery provided a much needed burial site for a growing San Diego and original prices per lot ranged from five to twenty dollars depending on size and location.

In 1936, Interment Orders were created for citizens paying for burial lots. All deaths from 1868 to 1970 have been recorded in the Mount Hope Burial Registry.
