Join us as we reclaim our continued fight for civil rights and equality through the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade, followed by a lively community festival at MLK Park hosted by MLK Recreation Center! The day begins with a neighborhood parade starting at Valencia Park Elementary School and concluding at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center & Park. After the parade, there will be a festival filled with fun and activities for everyone hosted by the MLK Recreation Group and Park staff. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to honor Dr. Kings legacy and continue the march for justice and equality. We look forward to marching with you! Location: The Parade starts at Valencia Park Elementary School, heading east on Skyline Drive, and finishing at MLK Park.
