LHFA (Lao HMong Family Association) NT Festival

This festival will be more of a private event for members of Lao HMong Family Association (LHFA) and their families. It will be invites only. Families with HMong roots have been in San Diego for over 45 years. A purpose of this event is to continue an annual cultural exhibition, welcoming a new time/transition, which is also known as "Noj Tsiab" (NT) in HMong. Event attendants can expect participants to be wearing cultural outfits adorned with trinkets, speeches in different HMong dialects, HMong songs to be sing, mingling of individuals, families coming together as a community, enjoying food from members' families, reflecting on the past years and looking forward, showcasing and highlighting a group of indigenous people from Southeast Asia who has continue to assimilate well in San Diego.

Location: This event will be in the part of Kearny Mesa park that is near Ciota's Way around the cul-de-sac.
