ANNUAL MILITARY EQUIPMENT REPORT
Effective January 1, 2022, Assembly Bill (AB) 481 required all law enforcement agencies to obtain approval of a military equipment use policy for the funding, acquisition, or use of military equipment, as defined, in the bill. Every year, SDPD must present its annual report at a community meeting and subsequent review by the City Council. The annual report and presentation can be found on SDPD’s Assembly Bill 481 webpage.
This meeting aims to provide information and seek feedback from the community on technologies used by the San Diego Police Department.
The meeting presentation will be made from the "Host Location" with a broadcast of the location to the other eight locations. Public comment will be allowed from all locations.
