A Plan Review Specialist IV reviews complex building plans for compliance with building, zoning, water and sewer, and engineering regulations, and leads subordinates. Minimum qualifications include one year of experience at a level equivalent to a Plan Review Specialist III with knowledge of the California Residential Code of Regulations, Green Building Code, and Title 24 Energy Conservation Codes. Some positions require ICC Plans Examiner Certification within two years of hire.
