Special Event Traffic Control Supervisor

The Special Event Traffic Control Supervisor oversees the Special Event Traffic Control Section, directing and channeling vehicular and pedestrian traffic at special events. Responsibilities include developing staffing schedules, participating in event planning meetings, training subordinate personnel, preparing reports, and managing equipment. Minimum qualifications include one year of experience in traffic control at special events or parking enforcement, or 1800 hours as a Special Event Traffic Controller I or II with the City of San Diego, and possession of a valid California Class C Driver’s License.
