Stock Clerk
The Stock Clerk works under general supervision to receive, store, and issue supplies and equipment. Responsibilities include checking receipts against purchase orders, ensuring correct quantity and quality of items, placing stock in proper storage areas, and maintaining manual and computerized records of stock transactions. They prepare supplies for delivery, take physical inventory, report low stock, and may operate equipment like trucks or forklifts. Minimum qualifications typically include possession of a valid California Class C Driver’s License, with no specific education or experience requirements.
