The Human Resources Department's mission is to provide a connection between management and employees in an effort to enhance morale and productivity, limit job turnover, support a responsive and innovative workforce as well as help the City deliver services in a fiscally-sound and efficient manner.

The Department is composed of various independent programs and activities that include Labor Relations, Employee Learning and Development, Reasonable Accommodations, Citizen Assistance Program and the City's Volunteer Program.
