Golf Operations Assistant

Work at one of our three municipal golf courses as a Golf Operations Assistant is a great way to start! Golf Operations Assistants fulfill critical day to day operational duties including checking golfers in for available tee times, coordinating golfers at the starter booth, securing tee times for resident and non-resident golfers and more!

Greenskeeper

Like working with your hands in the outdoors? Greenskeepers perform a variety of ground maintenance duties including mowing, edging and top-dressing greens, assist with aeration, sodding and overseeding.

Equipment Technician I

Golf Division Equipment Technicians repair and maintain golf maintenance equipment including, irrigation systems, water meters and small turf equipment.

Grounds Maintenance Worker I

Grounds Maintenance Worker I positions perform physically active and routine grounds maintenance and custodial tasks at recreation facilities, parks, golf courses and other public facilities.

Grounds Maintenance Worker II

Grounds Maintenance Worker II (GMW II) positions maintain parks, recreation centers and other park facilities planting and maintaining shrubs, flowers, turf and trees. GMW IIs also clean park facilities by removing weeds, debris and trash, mowing, edging, pruning and trimming. Work may also include maintenance of indoor facilities including recreation centers and community rooms.

Recreation Aide

Recreation Aides work at City recreation centers, teen centers and after school programs assisting with sports, games, crafts and other activities. Rec aides help residents register for classes and general customer service for patrons. Must be at least 15.5 years old, hours are flexible, and no experience is needed!

Rec Leader I positions plan, organize and teach recreation classes, assist with program marketing efforts and help open and close recreational facilities, among other customer service-related duties. Must be at least 16 years old and 900 hours of recreation related experience/education.
