On March 22, 1995, officers responded to a report of a death at 2137 Ocean View Boulevard in the Logan Heights area of San Diego. When they arrived at the location, they were directed to a vacant residence behind the address where they found the body of the victim lying on the floor of the bathroom inside the residence. The resident of the Ocean View address discovered the victim. The resident's home had been burglarized and he was inspecting the area around his residence when he discovered the victim's body.
