SYNOPSIS:

San Diego Police Department detectives continue to look for leads to help solve the murder of Lynn Dale Bell.

Mr. Bell, a 16 year old Lincoln High School student, was waiting at a bus stop near the entrance to the Willie Henderson Sports Complex located in the 4600 block of Logan Avenue in the Mountain View community of San Diego, California on June 15, 2001. A male approached Bell on foot and fired several shots at Bell. Bell was struck and died from his injuries. A female who was playing in the nearby park was also struck in the face by a bullet. The female later recovered from her injuries.
