Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
All reports, except for arrest reports, cost $12, payable via check or money order payable to City Treasurer.
Arrest reports (only page 1 can be released) cost 50 cents, payable via check or money order to the City Treasurer.
After seven (7) business days, email sdpdreportrequests@pd.sandiego.gov or call 619-531-2846 to confirm if a report is ready for pick up.
A third party may pick up a report if they have written authorization from the victim with a photo ID and the required $12 fee.

There is a $12 processing fee per report.
Get local criminal history reports from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. If you need local criminal history longer than seven (7) years, request a report from the State of California Department of Justice.
If you need a background check for Visa/Immigration or any foreign nation transactions, request a report from the State of California Department of Justice.
