Benchley-Weinberger Elementary Joint Use Facility General Development Plan
Project Background
This project provides for the design and construction of new joint use improvements at Benchley-Weinberger Elementary School which is located at 6269 Twin Lake Drive within the Navajo Community, within Council District 7.
The General Development Plan (GDP) inclusive of the environmental document, design, and construction of the joint use facility improvements is funded by the San Diego Unified School District through the use of voter-approved Propositions S and Z and Measure YY bond funding.
Scope of Work
This project includes the approval of a General Development Plan (GDP) through community engagement that includes the following:
- Multi-purpose natural turf field
- Play equipment with resilient surfacing
- Hardcourts
- Walking track
- Parking lot
