Performs diagnostic, preventive, and corrective maintenance on City vehicles, including complex engine overhauls, and ensures compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Requires a State-accredited four-year Equipment Mechanic Apprenticeship and one year of journey-level experience, or five years of journey-level experience, and ASE Master Automotive Technician Certificate or Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technician Certificate.
