Under direction, a Polygrapher III conducts complex interviews and interrogations using psychophysiological devices to determine truthfulness, provides expert testimony in court, and performs special investigative or research work. Minimum qualifications include successful completion of an American Polygraph Association (APA) accredited polygraph training course and two years of full-time experience administering polygraph examinations.
