Sign Painter

The Sign Painter performs skilled sign painting, design, and layout work, including designing sign patterns, operating spray guns, mixing paints, and preparing surfaces. Responsibilities also involve creating and repairing silk screen stencils, applying reflective materials, and hand lettering signs, office titles, and banners. Minimum qualifications include successful completion of a State-accredited two-year Sign Painter Apprenticeship Program, two years of journey-level experience, or a combination of experience and technical training in screen printing or hand lettering.
